The G.P. Network

Collaboration is the most effective strategy for achieving a goal, making the most of opportunities by joining forces. Collaborating with the G.P. Network means interacting in a common system, where each force contributes to achieving the same objectives: encouraging the development of projects, promoting cooperative activities, fruitful interaction and exchange of expertise. The aim is to contribute in an active and significant way to the development of Italo-Hungarian relations (Italy and Hungary have deep historical and cultural ties), and in general with the countries of the Central European area, promoting understanding between peoples, collaboration between nations and fostering cultural, scientific, tourism, trade and economic relations.

A multinational and multicultural tool, designed to establish a dialogue with institutions and outstanding entities, developing fruitful synergies between companies, associations, foundations, study and research institutes, universities, training centres, the world of work and more.

Culture as a Resource and an Asset

International cultural relations are an effective foreign policy instrument and play an essential role in promoting intercultural cooperation and peaceful relations between peoples.

Scientific evidence also reveals the crucial role of cultural participation on human health; access to culture is one of the most important factors of psychological well-being in society. Culture creates jobs and competitiveness and is today a key element of the global economy. It is therefore crucial to create transnational initiatives that actively promote a culture of encounter and dialogue, thereby supporting the building of friendly relations across borders.

Past, Present and Future

All that has been written and accomplished before we came to this world represents great wealth. It is the work of many generations of men and women to which, inevitably, we have a duty to contribute in a responsible and careful manner, deploying our resources and skills to help the next generations build the future. Culture has always been an indispensable tool for social and economic growth and a stimulus for ideas and innovation.

Europe boasts strong and dynamic cultural and creative industries, which are not only essential for cultural diversity, but are also among the most dynamic sectors on the continent. According to Eurostat data, these industries employ 8.7 million people in the EU, representing 3.8% of the total workforce and 1.2 million enterprises.

Promotion

Within the scope of the Network’s activities, the Association promotes the knowledge of high-quality Hungarian products on the Italian territory and of Made in Italy products in Hungary.

Development

We organise trips to Hungary and Italy to learn, to work and to meet specific realities, paying the utmost attention to opportunities and the development of synergies.

Situated in a strategic location, the Association is based in Trieste, “a city halfway between Budapest and Rome”, and as part of its international activities, it actively collaborates with institutions, foundations, universities, study and research centres, companies and enterprises in Italy and around the world, organising transnational initiatives and projects that actively promote the culture of encounter and dialogue, thereby supporting the development of friendly relations across borders.
